S.O.A.R – Student Outreach and Advocacy Representatives teamed up with Southeastern University’s food pantry for the month of November. The two organizations worked together to provide a Thanksgiving food drive for Southeastern in hopes of getting students as well as the community to donate to the less fortunate. “We are here to show how small positive actions can result in a big impact within our local community,” said the Office of Student Conduct’s graduate assistant Jen Rees.
This is the last week to donate to the food drive. The items specifically needed are rice, jelly, juice, water, bread, cereal, dry milk, feminine products and toiletries. However, all donations are accepted.
If interested in donating items, drop of donations to The Office of Student Conduct. Located in War Memorial Student Union Room 1305. For more information , contact Antoinette Alack at email@example.com before the end of the week.
