Cupcake shop sweetens local shopping district

[Hammond] – It has been just over a year since the locally owned Cupcake Concept began catering to Hammond’s sweet tooth. The sweets shop nearly exclusively sells cupcakes, but also caters birthday parties, weddings and business events. Many not hearing ‘Fanfare’

Fanfare, an October festival celebrating the arts, welcomes students to attend over 50 events. Lack of advertisement makes the information about Fanfare scarce. Many students know nothing about Fanfare. “I was there for six years (undergrad and grad) and I’m not super sure I ever knew what Fanfare was about” Southeastern graduate Helen Plylar said.
