Tutti Frutti of Hammond signed with KSLU 90.9 FM to be a sponsor for The Mike Lucas Radio Show.
The show airs on Monday nights at 7p.m. at Tope La in downtown Hammond and is hosted by Allen Waddell. The show focuses on Southeastern football and the upcoming game for each week. Still new to the city of Hammond, Tutti Frutti has agreed to be a sponsor for the 2010 football season.
Tutti Frutti is located in downtown Hammond and has several employees who are current students at Southeastern and are big supporters of the sponsorship for the show.
“I think its really neat that we are getting involved with the university,” said sophomore Jenna Luteman. “As a student and employee of Tutti Frutti, I think it’s important for local businesses to support the university in any way they can.”
Tutti Frutti hopes to bring in a large Southeastern crowd to enjoy the environment and specials offered. Specials include smoothies of the day and special offers.
“It’s so exciting to hear that Tutti Frutti, where I work, is now sponsoring Southeastern football, where I cheer,” explained Rachelle Lanier, a Southeastern Lion’s Cheerleader. “I hope to see everyone at Tutti Frutti before and after the games.”
Tutti Frutti serve frozen yogurt, smoothies, bubble teas and provides free Wi-Fi to customers. It also offers a 10 percent discount to those with their student ID.
