Impaired Faculties will perform Benefit Concert

[Hammond] On November 5th, Impaired Faculties will be performing a Benefit Concert at the Columbia Theatre here in downtown Hammond. It will be a fundraising event in which all proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Columbia Theatre. Impaired Faculties is a band solely made up of Southeastern University faculty members. They consist of Dr. Joe Burns, Dan McCarty, Ralph Wood, Randy Settoon, and Bill Robison.

The group recently released a new song called, “Waterline”, which is available on Itunes and proceeds also go the flood victims that were affected by the major flood disaster in August. The band be covering some songs by famous rock band, The Beatles. The Columbia Theatre will be hosting Impaired Faculties in their Ghost Light Concert Venue from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance and are $10.

The Columbia Theatre is located on 220 East Thomas Street. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at (985) 543-4371. The theatre is opened from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
