Electronic Products are Still the Hottest on Black Friday 2012

Baton Rouge, LA-Black Friday began on last Thursday, which is one day earlier than previous years. Markets like Target, Walmart, BestBuy, Macy’s, and Dillard’s provided great deals for clothes, shoes, skin care products, electronic products, and other any kinds of merchandises. Every market had different items and open time for people to gain the best deal.

BestBuy provided amazing deals for electronic products, liking TV, camera, computer, game consoles, cell phone, and so on. There were hundreds of people waiting outside BestBuy. Many of them waited for several hours.

Timothy Graves was queuing outside BestBuy. “This is my second time to wait for BestBuy on Black Friday. It opens at midnight,” Graves said, “It always has more great choices for me to save money. Most people would like to buy electronic products on Black Friday since they have the greatest discount. That is why I came here at 3:00 p.m.”

Most markets and stores posted Black Friday discount information on their official websites. People would like to compare all deals, and find out the best one that matches their needs. “I got the information of Black Friday from BestBuys website. I need to buy two TVs for my father, a blue-ray player, and a hard drive,” Graves said.

Laquanna Brown was also one of those who were in the long line outside BestBuy. “I already have stayed here for more than six hours, and I still need to wait one and a half hours more, but I believe it is worth waiting here,” Brown said, “I want to snap up a 50-inch-TV tonight. This is my first year doing BestBuy in Black Friday. I am glad since it is not cold as it could be tonight, and it is likely that I can get a good deal for the TV.”

Brandon Zheng, a Louisiana State University student, waited two and a half hours outside Target for Xbox 360 with Kinetic Bundles. When Target opened at 9:00 p.m., Zheng ran inside, and got three Xbox 360 successfully for himself and his friends.

Some people wait the whole year for the big deal in Black Friday, and then bought all wish list items at a much lower price than usual. “The original prize is $300. But the prize now is $200. So, it is $100 off. I got the information from Black Friday deal website,” Zheng said, “I am so excited that I got three Xbox from the limited 50 items. It never has the biggest deal like this before.”

This is Zheng’s first time to shop at Target on Black Friday. “The reason why I want to buy Xbox right now is that I really love to play dancing and sports games with friends whenever we have parties, and get-together sometimes,” he said, “I believe that it is an interesting game to share with friends. Besides, it is also of good help for health and losing weight.”
