Christmas Banquet

Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Southeastern Louisiana University

The second annual Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) Christmas Banquet will be held on Dec 3.

The banquet is open to all students and their families. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any member of BCM leadership.

Each table will be decorated by members of BCM leadership and have a unique theme.

BCM Director Matt Middlecamp said, “Members of leadership have paired up to design themed tables. I know someone’s doing a Disney themed table, and someone else is putting an entire Christmas tree on theirs.”

Attendees will be able to participate in stage games during the event.

“We’re going to play our own version of jeopardy. It was a huge hit last year and we’re excited to do it again,” said Middlecamp.

Comedic commercials will be played throughout the night which will advertise different upcoming events while providing entertainment for everyone.

“All of the small groups have been given the task of making different videos, some of which are informative and some are just for fun,” said Middlecamp.

All proceeds from the banquet will go towards the BCM mission fund, which is used help people both locally and internationally.

“Some of the mission fund goes to the BCM statewide organization to send students to places like Alaska and Canada to spread the gospel. Some of the funds are used for our BCM students to go on missions trips more locally. And of course, a good portion of the funding goes towards outreach for campus,” said Middlecamp.
