- The Student Government Association met Monday, April 3, at 5:09 p.m. to discuss the SGA general election and the Food Pantry of Southeastern.
Online voting for SGA president, vice president, chief justice, and senate is available from April 3 at 8a.m. until Wednesday, April 5 at 4:30p.m.
President candidate Caleb Kerstens said, “I’m proud of the senators’ decisions and budgeting throughout this semester so far.”
The Food Pantry serves students non-perishable food items and hygiene products.
Southeastern website says, “ The mission of the Southeastern Food Pantry is to provide non-perishable food items to any currently enrolled Southeastern student in need.”
The Food Pantry is currently overflowing with abundance, with some items being stored in faculty offices. New shelving was discussed and voted on for this reason. The Food Pantry Refresh Bill was passed favorably by senators, and meeting was adjourned at 5:23 p.m.
