We are not created to point fingers; we are not created to hate- we are created to love. One Louisiana is an event for all to come together, no matter the race, gender, or denomination, to glorify and worship Jesus- an event to uplift and unify our region, state, and the nations.
Michelle Braud, a coordinator of One Louisiana said, “we’re going to have prayer, have worship and see what all God has for our region.”
This a beautiful opportunity for college students to spread the love and make positive declarations over their schools. Southeastern Louisiana University Center is in the heart of Hammond, and SLU website says, “the attractive octagon-shaped building, which opened in 1982 at a cost of $16.3 million, can comfortably host any event from small club meetings and wedding receptions to conferences, trade shows, seminars, graduations and big name concerts.”
Pastor Marvin Poole of The Harbor in Hammond, Louisiana said, “We believe that this is a fire starter. God is going to use our region to start a fire that will reach to the nations.”
Avery Martin, an alumni of SLU said, “we’re going to be unified; we’re going to be together; we’re going to be one body under Christ.”
